Goals

I would like to get down to 170 pounds. In April I weighed in at 194. Realising that my exercise program needed a change, as there was no progress towards the goal, I resumed spinning. I started spinning three years ago and continued for about a year. It was reasonably successful. In April I started with two sessions per week, and increased that to three sessions a week in May. Each session is about 45 minutes. Last Friday I weighed in at 186. Progress, but not what I would have expected. This week, I attended five sessions. The gloves are off!

Today, one week later, I weighed in at 192 pounds.

I’ll stick with this for the next two weeks and see where I am. I know these things take time, but I’m really impressed how relucant my body is to give up a single pound. May be it has goals too?
