Power Generation Results

We had a strong beginning to the second quarter. For the first time monthly power generation exceeded modelled projections,  796 kWh vs. 692 kWh (kWh vs. kWh). Other notable results included breaking the 40kWh / day barrier three times over the month.

Net income for the month, after charges by the utility, were $300.26 up 200% from the previous month’s earnings and 15% above the month’s projections.

Net Income for the first 4 months of the year was $605.43, off $167.56 from the projected $772.99. However, power generation at the end of the quarter had accumulated Net Income amounting to 35.5% of annual household power consumption reflecting a 2.5% benefit.

The accumulated power generation deficit is 414 kWh, or about 20%.  Looking forward, modelling projects the next four months will be the highest producing months.  With favourable weather conditions we expect to meet projections resulting in generating enough power to reduce this deficit to under 10%.
