The surrealism of this place was defined by the radar-hosting spheres. A scene of cold, hard engineering oozing the numen of these icons of science fiction. The symmetry and alignment of the deck chairs conveyed order and authority; having them face the spheres projected subjugation to these things.
The emptiness of the deck was eerie. Was it the deck to observe from or to be observed?
