Explanation

Many have noted Prime Minister Harper’s tight control over message, staff, and agenda.  Many have criticized his micro-management style.  Andrew Coyne offers an insightful explanation: his team is untrustworthy. If poor judgement is one component of the failure in trust then Nigel Wright’s decision to pay Duffy’s expenses without informing the Prime Minister resulting in him unknowingly misleading Parliament is seen as an example. 

It feels good to relish the sense of calm that comes with an understanding derived from an explanation.  It all makes sense now.  Don’t ask any more questions.
