“After graduating from Princeton, Cruz attended Harvard Law School, graduating magna cum laude in 1995 with a Juris Doctor degree. While at Harvard Law, he was a primary editor of the Harvard Law Review, and executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and a founding editor of the Harvard Latino Law Review. Referring to Cruz’s time as a student at Harvard Law, Professor Alan Dershowitz said, “Cruz was off-the-charts brilliant.” At Harvard Law, Cruz was a John M. Olin Fellow in Law and Economics.”

I’m willing to accept these credentials translate into cooking skills, yet in my opinion, the recipe is lacking in detail. Importantly, it does not state how many shots need to be fired to cook a piece of bacon. It looks like it takes a couple of clips which suggests it probably costs a few dollars/strip making it a rather expensive approach. As well, it is unclear whether the method is practical for general home use. Granted, Cruz does suggest this is a local Texan specialty, so my expectation is that in Texas most homes have a firing range on premises or at least in those homes where the owner is willing and able to pay several dollars to cook a slice of bacon.
