Textures #1

This week’s photography assignment is on the use of textures.  Applying textures involves post processing with Photoshop (in my case “Elements”).  The process involves opening the photograph and the texture(s) to be applied in PS Elements, then copying the texture image and pasting it as a layer over the photograph.  After pasting the texture change the Blending Mode from Normal to Overlay or Soft light and the opacity to between 30-50%. As this is art, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder (or in this case the post processor), the above directions should be considered more as guidelines. Other modes and opacities are available to enjoy.
