I’m in Chicago at a conference. Conferences present a great learning opportunity. The learning comes from not only what is said but the thoughts stimulated and the consequent realizations. Here is what I’ve learnt today:
Watch the signs and make sure you know what you’re getting into
Sometime you have to state the obvious
Technologies may be used in unexpected ways
Avoid complex and risky solutions
Understand the consequences of failure
