Friday night we (Linda and the children) drove down to Heidelberg to have dinner with a dear friend. It was her birthday; 29 I believe, But I guess I shouldn’t say. I have referred to the Old Heidelberg Hotel previously. It is a fascinating place. 
It’s decor is so “Canadiana” however the menu is rooted mostly in German cuisine.
From our house, it is a one and one-half hour drive to Heidelberg. A great opportunity to talk withthe family. Well, the snoring started before the conversation got going. Similarly on our return trip until about 50 km from home. Then the children’s cell phones started ringing (well play music). I guess they were arranging the rest of their evening for when we returned.
