Breaking 80

On March 1, 2006 I broke 80.

Yes, dear friends and fellow golfers. An event to be noted and relished. No doubt, I shall remember this day for years to come. The memories will include not only the thrill, but the environment at that very moment it happened, the setting sun, the fresh smell of the cool breeze, the music playing on the radio, the hum of the engine, as I watch the odometer switch from 80 to 81 km. A new car.
