Answer: the name of the new operating system, based on Mac OS X, that would result from such a merger.

So, recalling the Forrester research previously noted, does this represent a means for Microsoft to gain market share and address flagging customer loyalty? Granted Apple has a very small share, but it’s not about what it has, but what it could have. The numbers above are not proof; but may be they are an indicator.
