Carolyn returned from Tampere Finland today. She was competing in the World Championships for Aesthetic Gymnastics. It’s an annual event run by the International Federation of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics; last year we joined her in Denmark.
First reports: food was bad; things were expensive; there were some organizational challenges; and the sun is up most of the time. Carolyn is glad to be home.
They didn’t do as well as last year, coming in 15th of 26 teams. But their spirits remain sufficiently buoyant to want to compete in Helsinki in October.
