Letter of Concern: Followup

in

Recently I posted the reply sent to my brother’s letter that expressed concern about the treatment of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay. He called the other day and advised that Ali Mohammed Ahmed bin Mahmud “(you can just call him Ahmed)” had not arrived, as promised, on Monday.

Obviously, my brother expressed deep disappointment, especially after assuming the expense of added electronic and electrical-based security measures and devices. Clearly my brother had in mind a man-servant, like Cato to Inspector Clouseau, that would help him overcome those minor daily challenges and aggravations that only a sociopath could deal with.

Such disappointment runs deep and I speculate it could even cause him to re-evaluate his support of the GOP. A promise is a promise.
