Certainly one of the attractions for us of the Melia Las Americas was the golf package. The hotel is located right next to the Varadero Golf Club.
The Par 72 course is about 6,200 meters in length. In the satellite picture above you can see the Pro Shop and the central part of the course, which extends off the picture to both the left and right. It is a long, narrow course. It has wide, well maintained fairways, and well bunkered. The 10th and 18th holes are adjacent to the ocean, providing a spectacular view, and as it was on this day, some wind.
