This 57 minute documentary summarizes some of the inventions and discoveries of the ancient Arab world. According to the documentary this list includes determining the tilt of the Earth’s access, the scientific method, the windmill, and the three-course meal. But may be the most important contribution was knowledge: the translation of thousands of ancient Greek works into Arabic that survive to this day.
