I have heard of dwarf tossing. Some dwarfs claim to enjoy it, even expressing visions of the Olympic Games [1]. But how far will this tossing thing go?
Enter camera tossing. Odd, yet the results can be quite spectacular as demonstrated in the sample photograph. The basic rules are quite simple, toss the camera and [optionally] catch it [2, 3]. Technique includes horizontal, vertical or diagonal rotation, during the day or night. Like most endeavours, the human being is able to take a fundamentally simple idea and articulate it to the nth degree of complexity.
Clearly the concern is the landing part and the potential to damage the camera. Kinetic Photography [4] is an alternative or may be I can get a dwarf to hold the camera. Now, whose camera can I borrow?
