Travel: Land and Cityscapes

This is a compilation of photographs landscapes and “cityscapes.”

After arriving in Munich we drove up to Nürnberg. The Pegnitz river flows through the city offering serene views such as those below.

While staying in Boppard on the Rhine we took a cruise to St. Goarshausen to see the Rhine Gorge which is said to be the narrowest part of the Rhine.

In Koblenz I took this photograph of the bronze statue of the German Emperor Wilhelm I situated on the Deutsches Eck.

In Brugge I was able to take this night shot

This photograph is from Konstanz located on the Bodensee.

Below are a couple of pictures from Berchtesgaden. This first is of the city itself. This is a popular view of the city, bringing in both the city and the Watzmann (mountains).

Below is a picture of the Kehlsteinhaus located at the top of the Kehlstein mountain. From this vantage point one has a view of the city of Berchtesgaden to the east, Salzburg to the north and Königssee to the south
