Light Painting #8: Fruits

I’ve come to realize that fruits can be difficult to capture. They are very easily over exposed. It might be nice to have a polarizing filter, but sadly my camera doesn’t offer one.

In this photograph, I included the painting to provide a sense of the classics. I added the beer mug to mirror the one in the painting. The bowl of fruits are highlighted as they are the subject, but I also highlighted the face in the painting.  I added a little extra dab of light to the beer mug, just to make sure it could be seen.  The fruit plate was added for balance and to remind the viewer that fruits are for eating, not just looking.
