    After Mayflower Lake we took the 45 minute walk to Stubb’s Falls. The falls are more a series of tiers, like the one below. Pleasant enough, were it not for the mosquitos: one of the side effects of a wet season is a large number of these pests.

    On our second day, after checking out, we drove up Highway 11 from Huntsville a few miles north to Arrowhead Provincial Park. Our first stop was at Mayflower Lake.

    We were able to get in a round of golf, followed by a dinner at 3 Guys and a Stove and then a walk to work off the meal. Although it is June, the weather remains cool and unfortunately wet. Some signs that summer has yet to arrive… Canoes on bank; not in water Empty…
