I took one shot with each of my lenses to compare the results.   The pictures have been cropped to be about the same size. All shots were taken at the same aperture.

Konica Hexanon AR 50mm f/1.4:

Lumix G Vario f/3.5 14-45mm:

In the test shot, at 100% the Lumix Vario is noticeably less sharp than the other two lenses. The sharpness of the Leica and Konica is very close. With the tools available to me, I’m not able to see much of a difference in sharpness, colour and contrast and what there is does not indicate to me better or worse, just different.

The Konica certainly has a narrower depth of field than the Leica, as can be seen by the relatively more blurred background.
