Eyes: Focus

This is the fourth posting in a series on emotions expressed through the eyes of animals. These are shots from my recent trip to Florida.

This shot of a Green Heron taken in the Green Cay Wetlands seems to express deep focus. The piercing stare in combination with the absolute stillness of the beast can in fact be nothing else. This posture is is then followed by the lunge.

What a neck!
