The sometimes misquoted Google Corporate Philosophy of Do No Evil is actually You can make money without doing evil. And while that may be true history shows that power corrupts and even the best man is not immune. I suspect that there is some threshold of power that when reached corruption ensues.
So with that in mind I have taken another step in distancing myself from The Google. My first step was taken last September when I moved this blog off the Google platform to Squarespace.
My most recent step was to download the Safari Browser plug in Glims so that I could replace the Google search with Bing. My next step is to find a replacement for the Google Newsfeed Reader. I’m currently exploring the native RSS capabilities of Safari.
