33 Days above 110

in

I saw on the local weather report  the broadcaster claiming some sort of “weather record” of 33 days above 110F.

The first 3 days of our trip are being spent with a local photographer who is acting as our tour guide, but with a photographer’s interests in mind.  This extends to two key elements: [1] the sites visited are photographically interesting [2] the stops are longer; not the 3-minute rapid-fire episoids one experiences on typical tours.

While some of the sites we have visited are popular, such as Antelope Canyon, for most of them they are remote and we are the only ones there.  The pace is good, but there is some driving between sites. To be expected.  While at the site, local experience also helps with quickly identifying the good shots and vantage points. The shot below is from Lower Antelope Canyon.
