Over the last year I have taken over 20,000 shots: 19,500 were shot with my M9; 900 with my Panasonic G1. The distribution of focal lengths is shown below. One might argue that the distribution reflects the limitations of the camera (i.e., the M9 uses only fixed focal length lenses and I have only up to 90mm covered) or it might be that the type of photography I do drives the nature of equipment I use. The truth is closer to the latter. Only on a couple of occasions this year did I use the G1 which support longer zoom lenses.
