I took this shot at 6:31 AM on August 25th.  Dawn that day was between 6:02 and 6:32AM.  The sun was starting to hit the buildings, as can be seen by the reflection in the fore-most shorter building.  The photograph is a composition of 7 shots with exposures ranging between 1/30 and 2 seconds.

I processed the image, first with  Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 and then with Lightroom.  In the case of HDR when multiple shots are involved I will tend to execute the Lightroom portion of the work flow on the single HDR image rather than the individual inputs.  The HDR processing was largely around exposing a fuller dynamic range. There is some HDR effect evident, introduced because I like the cartooning effect.

Lightroom processing was largely cropping and straightening the shot (i.e., getting the angles right).
