Fernwood

Many years ago there was a short-lived television program called Fernwood Tonight.  

This image is a composition of three shots, combine through my HDR software.  The processing objective was to even out the light and bring out the shadows. Following that I processed the picture with Silver Efex to make it black and white.  I applied structure to bring out the fine detail, and vignetting to darken the edges. I brightened the foreground ferns to catch the eye, to counter the darker background thus increasing the sense of depth.
