Leaves on Peck Lake

It’s easy to miss the leaves for the forest.  

I processed this shot with Color Efex. I applied just two filters: Polarization, to slightly enhance the boldness of the colours and Darken-Lighten Center to highlight the subject.  The Darken-Lighten filter is much like a vignetting tool but it adds two capabilities not often found: [1] the ability to place the centre spot of the circle [2] the ability to brighten the centre spot as well as darken the edges. In combination these features allow one to highlight the spot where one’s eye should hit first.
