My desktop is of the same design as an office cubical.
It is the repository of the artifacts of my activity.
Its contents reflects the range of activity at any point in time.
Its clutter reflects a backlog in filing and organizing.
Some of the items:
- Bottom-right: the Fibe TV Pamphlet labelled “Bell”
Evidence of our switch to a new internet and cable TV provider. I got fed up with our previous provider and in a fit of range I cancelled all services with them and moved to Bell. This thread is almost complete. - Bottom-right: Translucent square container sitting on top of Bell Bill
Step-up rings that allow me to fit my lens filter on lenses with different diameters. This is related to my exploration into the use of a variable ND filter. - Middle-right: Canon FD 200mm f/2.8 lens
Evidence of my tests of this lens on my new camera body. Testing continues. - Back-right: Bottle of Blazinal
A black and white film developer, formerly known as Rodinal, has been marketed since 1891 and is said to be the oldest photographic product still available. I’ve been waiting to receive this order for several months. Apparently the delivery (by boat) from Germany was delayed due to unusally cold weather. I look forward to using it. - Middle-back: Gummy Bears
A gift from a friend. - Middle-middle: Lens Shade
Shade for 80mm Bronica lens reflecting my exploration of film and medium format. - Middle-middle (next to coffee cup): Round lens cap
A lens cap with a pin hole in it for pin hole photography. A new thread of activity, exploring pin hole photography. It has an aperture of f/204…I look forward to discovering the depth of field. But some fiddling will be required to get this thing to work. - Left: PC & Keyboard
This is where it do this blog and sometimes read my e-mail.
