We recently visited the Vancouver area, a place where I lived until 1967. The impetus to visit and at this time was to attend the 2014 Annual Georgians Dinner hosted by St. George’s School, which I had attended.
To make this a little more interesting for my wife, we added a few days on either side of the dinner and toured about.
The first couple of day we spent in Harrison Hot Springs, located on Harrison Lake just east of Vancouver in the Frazer Valley.
This is a nice time of the year to visit: in the valleys the cherries, magnolia and daffodils are in bloom, yet the mountains remain fully snow covered.
