Timing

I recall someone saying few will be thinking about things they should have done at work while they drift away on their deathbed. Meaning there other things more important. But, the question is what is the right time to leave.  I touched on the logical thinking process in my post, 42 Days.  However there are other factors.

There are the coincidents–sysygy–those seemingly unrelated things that appear together that allow the superstitious mind to develop a deeper meaning and thus incite a call to action.

To set the context for this state of mind, one must know my first job in the computer industry was in a data centre.  41 years later, I am again in the data centre and so, in this respect I’ve come full circle.  Ah, the circle of life.  So significant.

Last week my bridge-car stopped working. I refer to it as my bridge car as it was intended to carry me until retirement. I got it last January when the lease on my real car ran out. At that time we decided committing to another four-year lease didn’t make sense, so something to get me to and from work was needed. We donated it to Kidneycar.ca.  They picked it up Monday.

My notebook is almost full. So there’s no more room to write.   I’ll start another book next week, but it will be on another topic.
