An Opening onto the Beach

Although I have been on a leave of absence since early January, I have continued to remain an employee, until today.   Tomorrow is my first day as a retiree.  

Over the last few years I have found that my interests and priorities have changed and that work no longer fuels these.  This has lead to an increasing sense of being constrained from what I’d like to do.  As I am eligible to retire, I saw an opening and have taken it.
