Cape Cod

Way stayed in South Yarmouth, on the south coast of the Cape.  It was just a two day stop over on our way to Knowlton Quebec.

After arriving we walked along the shore until we reached a lane that took us to South Shore Drive and ultimately to Skipper Restaurant for an early dinner.

The following day we drove north ending in Provincetown, with stops at various points along the way.  On our return we stopped in Truro and Chatham before reaching our hotel.

Between South Yarmouth and Quebec lies Boston.  Our concern was traffic.  We were advised to leave as early as possible, which we did.  We reached the Boston area by about 6:30 and took highway I95 which by-passes the city.  Yet even at this time it was busy a frequently stopped.  But it was acceptable, in part because of expectations of much worse.
