The portion highlighted (by me) suggests the PMO works with pundits to get their message out. I’m sure all parties conduct such spin operations; arguably it is an important part of the communicating a point of view. For the pundit that is able to convey a balance of perspectives, such information is likely helpful. The danger however is that the pundit becomes a mouth piece for a party and fails to provide any value add or the audience fails to differentiate a pundit from a reporter and thus assumes an unbiased point of view.
It just highlights how important it is to accept the points of view of others as just that, and not fact, no matter how forcefully the point is made.
