The island is located off the coast from Brunswick Georgia. It is a small, bicycle-friendly community. It took less than 30 minutes to circumnavigate the island by car. In doing so we found a spot to stop and continue our tour on bicycle. We came to Driftwood Beach on the north side of the island facing St. Simon’s Sound. A surreal arena of sculpted wooden statues.
