The south side of Krakow hosts Wawel Castle and Cathedral. The Castle is positioned on a hill above a legendary dragon’s den facing the Wista River.
Our apartment in Krakow was located on the Main Square, which was just a 10 minute walk from the Castle. As a result we made several visits to this site.

On the wall can be seen the plaques naming those who contributed to the rebuilding of the site during the 1920’s.
