Yesterday, the crew completed the rack which is the frame mounted on the roof to hold the panels. Today, they are installing the solar panels. 23 of them.
They have rigged up an elevator that allows them to slide the panels up the ladder by pulling on a rope. This approach to raising the panels is both easier and safer (for both man and equipment). It took some time to get the first few panels in place; it is important to ensure they are properly aligned (i.e., "square"). But once that was complete, installing the remaining went very quickly.
