Ferrania

I received an email from Ferrania the other day.  One of their semi-regular updates.  

In September 2014 Ferrania launched a Kickstarter Project to fund the recovery of a film processing plant and equipment in Italy.  It was scheduled to be in production the following year, notionally Spring 2015.  The production date remains elusive, yet progress is being made.  May be it will be this year.

I was a contributor to this project; in return I’ll receive 4 rolls of 120 film.    It is interesting to see the breadth of support.  I wonder if it’s enough to keep film going. 

Nicola Baldini narrates a short film about the arrival of the FILM Ferrania team to the newly refurbished LRF building for the purpose of firing up “Little Boy” for the first time.
