Over the last couple months, I have been doing a lot of cooking. A new BBQ/smoker has changed my approach to that method of cooking. I bought some hickory wood (which is a rather strong-tasting smoke) and have smoked pork ribs and the Costco Mild Italian sausages.  Smoking really changes the character of those sausages.

I’ve also started making breads and jams. For these I use the bread machine:
