What is the Cost of Lies?

It has been six weeks since my May 18th subway ride. At the time, I wanted to see if the trains and stations were as empty as reports had indicated, and if so, what it was like. I summarise what I saw a few days later in a note Union to Finch, where the title cites the points of entry and exit for my return home via the subway.

The outing was to confirm the answer to a question: were news reports correct? Tacitly, though, I was questioning the truth of material from what should be considered a reliable source. The uncertainty raises the question that If traditionally reliable sources cannot be trusted, then who can we trust? What happens when the diminishing pool of trusted resources runs dry?

Yet, it is important to be critical.
