Shaughnessy Elementary

I went to Shaughnessy Elementary for grades 1 to 3. The school looks the same, except the air raid sirens have gone. They we added after the Cuban missile crisis. There were two entrances to the school, one of the east side (right) for boys and one on the west side (left) for girls. When the bell rang, we all lined up in front of our respective doors.

The second set of windows from the right on the first floor was my grade 2 classroom. My grade 3 classroom was the first set of windows from the right on the second floor.
