My grandmother spoke often of having goose for Christmas dinner. We tried it, once. We prefer turkey. Turkey made with bread stuffing.
While it might seem obvious that the main ingredient is bread, the key is that it is stale bread. Yesterday I made a loaf, and with luck, it will be stale by Christmas.
