Sandstorm on the Edge

We chose our time to visit the Edge (Jebel Fihrayn) to coincide with sunset. The escarpment faces due west and coupled with its altitude and unobstructed view is a good spot to see the sun set.

But what we saw was filtered through clouds of sand.
