Worried about my maple tree I asked an arborist to take a look. He asked if I had an irrigation system. I confirmed I did, but I also noted that I had not used it because of all the rain.
On Tuesday this week, Toronto suffered flooding, not only in the usual spots, including the Lower part of the Don Valley Parkway, but also in Union Station. The event gained so much attention, my cousin, who lives in Kaiserslautern, Germany, emailed to ask if everything was ok.
We live uphill from Toronto, so we were unaffected.
