We’re sitting on the runway. As I look out the window I see lots of flashing lights. Looks like there a lot of planes waiting. The captain has warned us it could be an hour. We’ve already been here 1/2 hour so I guess we’re halfway through. I might not make my 6:45 spinning class…

Looks like we’ve arrived at the gate on time. So goes the 10 minutes we picked up.

Surprise! The flight arrived 10 minutes early. We are now sitting in a holding area until the gate opens up.

I made it through customs and security in good time. Although the airport is crowded, my path was unobstructed. I packed all my liquids and gells in my luggage and checked it. Fortunately I am able to take my PC, reading material and pens on board. Pens don’t seem subject to the liquid/gell controls. The…
