    We’re back in Spain, to the Costa Brava, just north of Barcelona.   While largely a tourist area, the season is closing down; some operations will suspend operations until next year, some restaurants are closed. There are no crowds to speak of.  The scenery remains.

    On our second day in Andorra we hiked into the Madriu Valley. Our destination in the valley was a little hut named Refugi Fontverd. For the most part the trek was up hill making the journey a little longer than anticipated. However the return was that much easier as well.
