Pitfield’s General Store looks like it’s been there a while.  It is located on the east side of town, as with most other things, on the channel.

An old boat house along the channel.  The height of the wharf above the water level provides some indication of how much it has dropped.

Killarney Channel runs between the mainland and George Island providing safe harbour for the Village.  This is the channel-side view of Herbert’s Fishery, home of Herbert’s Fish and Chips.

A well known dish, often poorly prepared. Herbert Fisheries in the centre of Killarney (strategically located to the LCBO) has a 95th percentile offering. Fresh, cooked just right and not formula franchise. Punches above its presence.
