At the fringes one might find a distinct boundary or a gradual merging between the medium; an archipelago of tuffs of grass.

The combination of trees and water leads to only one thing: reflections. The first shot shows both the trees and their reflections in the Suwannee River.  The second is just the reflection.  The gentle currents of the Suwannee River imparted little deviation in the image.

As noted in an earlier post, we visited the Okefenokee Swamp in south eastern Georgia.  This swamp offered a little more diversity in trees and other plant life.  The swamp suffered a major forest fire a number of years ago and the damage is still visible.   The shots below were taken in Stephen C.…
