In both roles I reported to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) my responsibilities included establishing an architecture practice, developing technology roadmaps, and IT Governance.
My accomplishments included: establishing a team of architects, setting up delivery processes, integration with and/or supplementing IT Governance Processes and developing technology road maps for the delivery of business objectives for a $500 Million Operations Organization within a 1.1 billion dollar IT organization.
My major focus was a 5 year roadmap laying out incremental IT Optimization objectives through cost reductions, increased system utilization and improved service quality through automation of key processes including systems management, IT Asset Management and platform / infrastructure delivery.
Roadmaps for other initiatives included: office systems; cloud platforms; Platform as a service; Infrastructure as a Service
IT Governance responsibilities covered both operational and executive-level committees and boards, including: Planning Committees, Enterprise Infrastructure Governance, Architecture Review Board, Program Steering Committees.
