Remnants of Beryl

According to Wikipedia:

“Hurricane Beryl was a Category 5 Atlantic hurricane that impacted parts of the Caribbean, the Yucatan Peninsula, and the Gulf Coast of the United States in late June and early July 2024. It was the earliest-forming Category 5 hurricane on record during any season in the Atlantic and just the second in the month of July, the other being 2005’s mid-July Hurricane Emily. Beryl was also the strongest hurricane to develop within the Main Development Region (MDR) of the Atlantic before the month of July. The second named storm, first hurricane, and first major hurricane of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season, Beryl was an atypical hurricane that, in addition to causing widespread destruction across its path, broke many meteorological records for the months of June and July, including location, intensity and longevity. Additionally, it was the strongest storm by wind speed to develop in the month of June on record and the strongest in that month since Hurricane Alma in 1966.”

Hurricane Beryl

After crossing the Gulf Coast of the United States, Beryl proceeded northward, up the central planes, through Detroit, and into Ontario, where the remnants of the hurricane reached us July 10, 2024.
