A Good Business; A Good Life

One man’s story of coming to Canada in 1988 followed by his family in 1994, and the life they made for themselves, their children and their grandchildren.

Prepared in association with Beck Taxi, Harbourfront Centre, Canada 150, Ryerson University and the School of Image Arts, this film offers a window on one taxi driver’s experience in coming to Canada.

This film offers a window on one taxi driver’s experience in coming to Canada. The short films were displayed on tablets attached to the rear of the passenger seat in side taxis parked at the Centre. My film was entitled A Good Business, a Good Life, which summarizes the sentiment expressed by the driver I spoke with.
