Censorship, Good Taste or Practicality

It is a question sometimes faced by artworks: is this a work of art or simply in bad taste, or pornographic, and without value?

By cutting Trump for commercial reasons (ironically to make room for commercials), the CBC has drawn international attention. The removed 8 minutes included a 7-second scene that portrays Trump as a sympathetic and helpful character. As Fox News Contributor Mark Steyn notes “That’s who Donald Trump was before he was the new Hitler [1].” In this comment, Steyn points to how dramatically people can change, regardless of their position in life, and thus how fragile, and malleable, is our character, our moral qualities that guide our lives. Something worth keeping in mind.
